Meet our New Client: Assisting Families of Inmates!
AFOI was created in 1978 as a transportation program to help families visit relatives in state prisons.Today, the organization provides opportunities for regular, meaningful visitation, referrals to community resources, and other services that help families cope with incarceration and prepare for release and reunification. Last year, AFOI assisted in nearly 2,000 visits for family members as well as providing multiple resources for clients.
IT4Causes has performed an assessment of AFOI’s current information technology as well as their needs to deliver on their mission, and has already started moving them forward by setting them up on Office 365. In the next few months, plans include identifying a new phone system, moving their current website to WordPress, and improving their client database.
